Default test pipe check engine light

I'm looking to get some resonated test pipes, and I am trying to gather all of the information now so that when I install them I ensure I don't get the check engine light coming on. can anyone tell me and possibly post pictures of what I have to do with these non-foulers and stuff?
thank you

also, any recommendations on which I should go with.. a lighter crank pulley or a smaller underdrive pulley

Non-fouler photos and instructions are in the exhaust forum.
