Default Suggestions for deep tone exhaust?

Hey guys, im in a dilemma right now because I was considering the Topspeed Pro n1 exhaust, but my friend said that it doesn't have mufflers, and it's what makes the exhaust LOUD, but it doesnt have a deep tone. I'm actually looking for a more quieter but deep sounding tone. My friend suggested the Borla TD exhaust, but I dont like it judging from what i heard on youtube.

Really need some pointers right now, thx

Pointers to what? There are sound clips all over this forum. If you want someone else's opinion, which most likely won't agree with yours, just hang around.

my opinion is to find some ppl with comparable mods to what you have with both of the exhausts you are considering. all of my friends as well as myself have the topspeed N1...and we are all happy with it. at the hooters meet we have here in south texas...five of us have the topspeed exhaust and i have had others inquiring about switching theirs to Topspeed.

definitely research what you want though before you buy...you don't want to be stuck unhappy in the end! good luck to ya!

You say you didn't like the Borla from clips on youtube....are you saying it's not deep enough for you?

yep, you do have to remove the rears for the install though.

If I tell you that brand X has a deeper tone than brand Y would you believe me?

I've heard all of the sound but they sound so different than in real life. I've heard of the borla in person and it sounds pretty deep, but not the sound im looking for. I just bought a TS Pro1 exhaust because i just loved how it sounded on vid (hope it's just as good in person). Well, i guess i just have to experiment with different brands to see which ones i like best, right? If i dont like it, i can always sell it.

Lol my apologies for making this thread, it's kind of pointless and stupid.

I can't tell you which exhaust to buy but I'd recommend you plan out whether you want to run the exhaust with: stock cats, high-flow cats, or test pipes, or even headers. Some catbacks sound/work better with cats/HFC's/test pipes- just something to consider.

Remove the rear sways during the exhaust install then he put them back on after the install. It probably just means it's a tight fit or a pain in the ***.

Your friend is retarded to think that the Topspeed Pro 1 doesn't have mufflers. It has... TWO of them. But, it IS an EXTREMELY loud exhaust, but IMO sounds VERY good.

There are a million sound clips out there. Try Youtube.

Borla sounds great and deep , my personal choice is Tanabe Hyper medalian. The Tanabe is louder and deeper than Borla and both let the original VQ sounds come out, just a little more.
