They still use clamps, just not "hose" clamps.

Borla uses exhaust clamps, not hose clamps. Two very different things there.

The advantage I see to Borla's slip fit is that you don't have to worry about gaskets deteriorating and developing leaks. Come from the domestic side, having owned a few Mustangs, I think that with whatever exhaust I decide to go with, I will have a shop convert it to ball and socket type connections. Completely hassle free.

dyno numbers probably show similar results considering how they are both made. lol Thats why i got it , i also like the individual canister ala amuse setup really nice . I didnt buy hks because power doesnt really impress me compared to this plus it was a looks verses function per HP . Which even though is scarce in a Z with a exhaust certinly at this price point logic says skunk2 for function. lol

Anyone know the diameter of the piping? The lack of a balance pipe (X or H) makes it perfect for FI applications. This exhaust is almost identical in design to the amuse.

60mm piping , and yes the design is nearly identical to amuse. The gains of this exhaust also cater more so towards the top end of the power band not the lower.

Heres an example of a customer of mine who used this same exhaust on his G35. You can see gains of over 55hp Vs. the Pseudo Dual N1 style exhaust on a FI application.

LOL....come on, I wouldn't say its the sickest sounding exhaust for the Z. Since you're sponsored, you obviously will have to say that...... Exhaust sounds average.
