Nismo exhaust owners - any regrets? Feedbacks?

sighh....I have yet to hear my car from the outside
hey alvin,
have you installed your nismo exhaust yet? honestly, i was a little sad to see it go, because it sounds so nice when you really wind the engine out. i'm sure it will look great on your car, since you've gone with the nismo theme. btw, i know what you mean about the car sounding loud with no exhaust, sorta reminded me of an old world war II fighter. anyways, definitely post up pics of the exhaust on the car when you get a chance.

Nismo sounds good but looks waaaaay to stock in my opinion. On another note i was next to a Z with a Nismo exhaust and was like hey that sounds really nice and tame, i then preceded to give my Z a little gas and his Nismo exhaust note was easily and quickly overtaken by my Tanabe "howl" exhaust note

+1...
My flex sections blew also! Pissed me off, but I may be to blame. I combined the exhaust with Headers and HFCs (helix 200cel). I think the flex-sections were the weak link in the system. I think I blew them with all the hot gases
Other than that, its great!! I had a young guy in a 911 tell me my Z sounded great, of course he was listening to it at 6300rpm!! Said it was loud as hell, lol!

Nismo sounds awesome, especially at around 3K RPM. You can hear the sound building around 2K and passing 3K is great. Higher RPMs sound good but to me, the best part is the lower range with a deep, boomy, super clean sound.
Get it and you won't regret it, unless you like obnoxiously loud setups or super high-pitched setups.
Also, fit, finish and overall quality are tough to beat on the Nismo. I certainly don't regret getting it.

i love my nismo....
BUT... listening to my friends SLP loudmouths on his mustang GT, just made me realize that my nismo does sound a bit pu$$y... sooooooo, im getting HFCs for more sound and hopefully more power..
