Now i already know i cant make is sound the same because i dont have 8k for an APS TT and whatnot but i want an exhaust that sounds identical. now iv done a lot of research and sound clip listening already and found out that True Dual exhaust systems are the closest to that same exhaust note. Also the aps 2.5" true dual sounds close but it still seems kinda quiet. i found that the injen 1985c SES true dual exhaust with resonated testpipes sounds the closest and is in my budget range and also comes with 4" tips which is better then the aps with stock tip diameter. I also heard that the aps 3" exhaust is only ment for the aps TT setup and wont fit on a N/A 350z. so with that said, can anyone tell me the exhaust that comes the closest to the black 350z on tokyo drift that would be well apriciated. Thanks
Btw you just one my350z Noob of the Year 2007. Here is your trophy:

Man this site has gone to crap.
To the OP:
Try out true dual exhausts if you wish-- The APS true dual is a good choice. Instead of asking the jerk-offs on this website, perhaps you should go on youtube, and type in "350z exhaust" or even "g35 exhaust" to get an idea of different setups for exhaust setups.
The next thing you need to do is go to local meets and try to hear them in perosn, because most mics and computer speakers do a pretty poor job of recording and replaying all the harmonic frequencies which exhausts produce. It's rarely the case that exhausts sound identical to sound clips.
Consider exhausts that may be quiet at first, and also realize that changing out the cats to high flow or straight pipes will make the sound more agressive and in some cases more resonant and raspy.
Do that, and I'm sure you'll find exactly what you're looking for. Movies record and resynthesize sounds to glorify them on the big screen--realistically you wont get that exact sound but if you follow what I say I'm sure you will at the very least be very happy with what you get.
Thanks,
Ravi
