Default True Flow Air Filter

Anyone have any experience with these filters? http://www.gcaindustries.com/
I just ordered one for about $65 shipped. The guy on the phone said that they were not able to improve on Nissan's intake design, but when comparing the air flow of just their filter to Nissan's they found that Nissan's filter showed 60% flow capacity compared to 94% for the True Flow filter. The foam filter will also be an improvement in particle filtration.

Default Re: True Flow Air Filter

I have been using this filter for some time now. I prefer it over the stock and the K & N drop in. Besides, they sent me a cool T-shirt a few months after I bought the filter! Regards, Jim

What, specifically, do you prefer about it? Do you notice any difference in sound or performance? How well does it fit?
I'm intrigued...
Thanks!

Default Filter

I just returned from a 5 week, 9,000 mile road trip and I rotated the three filters over a 1,000 mile distance. This filter gave me approx. 1.5 mpg more than the other two. The intake sound is nicer (deeper?) than the others as well. Regards, Jim

Default Whoops

It fits perfectly, unlike the K&N. I run at the drags on a regular basis, but I cannot denote a performance difference in the three. This may be due to the ECU and its learning response. Regards, Jim
