Default Dented my Nismo exhaust!

Well with some nice weather here in the northeast the last few days I figured I'd take the Z out and get some oil flowing. Big mistake! I was doing about 80 MPH passing someone when I noticed a large chunk of something (maybe a solid piece of anti-skid or something left over from the last snow). I didn't have time to go around it so i centered it thinking it would pass right under me with no problems.

Well, it was about 2" too tall and it nailed the elbow of my Nismo Y-Pipe, and put some minor scratches on the mid pipe as well.

I'm not really worried about the mid...the damage is just cosmetic. But the Y took a direct hit (see the attached pics.)

Is this something i should be worried about performance and / or sound-wise or am I just tripping out over nothing? It was a very sick feeling when I heard it hit...

Nothing to worry about, the car will break down an die before that dent causes a leak.

Probably not the ONLY time that you will hit something on the road with your Z car. You will be fine.

Painful but don't worry about it. Be more careful in future.
