Let's not get too carried away here. Those gains are nice to see with just a cat-back, but the spike in torque at 5500rpm accounts for some of that gain. That is an instrumentation or some other type of non-representative function, as I don't think it's a real engine output.

yea...i dunno 27rhwp from a catback....i wouldnt say thats normal or even correct at all. But hey its nice to believe. LOL

and is there any exhuast pic of the whole exhaust it shows them using mild steel instead of 304 and im trying to find out how its made and looks.

to believe a car as highly tuned NA wise as a Z can gain 27rwhp in tq from a catback is kinda....crazy but hey dynos are sometimes like that i seen a dynapack one show a 25rwhp gain on my hyundai tiburon...turns out it was a calibration error.. I wouldnt take this dyno to heart and start saying you have 27lbs of tq...the rwhp looks right but yea....that tq..i dunno meng

If they ran it in 5th gear... it might have hit the speed limiter

its also a virtually brand new 424x dynojet that doesnt get ran except for our project cars, and for their to be a calibration error that occurs over night? Highly unlikely.

The car was ran 5 times, 2 in 3rd and 3 in 4th, 4th yielding the best numbers.

I think the numbers are nice if they are real engine output. The HP numbers are close to what both myself and Gooey had but that is with intakes and test pipes. He has Fast intentions and i have AAM TD. And we both had 3 runs to see if there were any major variances. That tq number is much higher than either of ours. About 22 more to be exact. If the idea is that the HR needs to breathe I think the test pipes would help tq not hurt it. So Im just curious to see somebody else represent that type of tq gain.

Why did the dyno not go to the 7500rpm redline? Not even close to it!

This is... interesting. How many runs total did you make with the exhaust installed?

bc it doesnt make power past 7000, no need to bounce it off the rev limiter

here you go guys, so the spike accounted for about 2fttq, but this run made 1 more hp. This was the last 1 of the night
