It was still making power when you let off, not even a slight drop in the curve Owning a sports car and not taking it to redline FTL

So I figured out why the runs dont go to 7000rpm. the stop sample button was prematurely being hit.

Guess you dont understand how HP curves work do ya? If a car peaks at a given rpm then looses power beyond that, what is the purpose of doing so? Is it so you can have an extra 1000rpm of falling power numbers on the graph?

^Hi,
with regard to above statement..
-Would'nt it be beneficial to see exactly what your power band looks like, through to redline?
-Also, would it not be benefit the tuner?

Previous runs were made through the power band, but there is also no tuning going on here, just a before and after exhaust run. Power wasnt being made past 6800, so later runs were run shorter RPM

previous run taken to 7300rpm

You should ALWAYS run it out to redline. Unless you NEVER plan on going to redline, you absolutely need to see what's going on at every point of your power band, regardless if power is being made or not (since there can be a reason why no power is being made there). This especially needs to be done in regards to tuning.

You're the one that asked "what is the purpose of doing so?". All I did was answer your question... don't get butt hurt.

I'm still VERY shocked that the car made that much power. It's time to get it in the hands of a very capable driver (not saying you're not one) and get it to the track to see what she can do.

exactly! I don't care how much power it makes if it doesn't sound good.

Not discounting the gains at all, I would like to understand what it is about this design that is so great. Several very sharp turns, but it does have an X-pipe.

Just run it on street tires.

Have you had a chance to run it yet?
