Default Which yields better gains?

I've been searching and I can't come to a good answer.
I was looking at the 5/16 spacer. When I was looking at that, I came across the Kinetix V+ Plenum.

My question... Is it worth it to just buy the Kinetix V+ Plenum over the spacer? Or can the spacer be used with the plenum. I guess what I'm really asking is which would yield better gains and which would be "better"

If someone can post links or refer me to tests, etc I'd appreciate it.

Mods, if you must, post a link to some place that will help me and delete this thread if you find it to violate the top 100 questions.

Spacers and plenums produce similar gains. Also keep in mind the V+ is composite so you will get some extra intake sound.

You must really suck at looking things up. Look at this thread, it is current. Read it all the way through. There is a real good discussion about spacers and plenums near the end.

The results of the Sport Z magazine Plenum vs Plenum Spacer Shoot-Out are about 2 years old.
