Default has anyone tried resonated tp's on injen track exhaust

right now I have APS 2.5 TP's with the injen track exhaust.

looking to quiet it down just a slight bit. I've already dynamatted the whole back half of the car but it still drones a quite a bit. I don't really wanna take the take the TP's off but I might have to since I drive long distances quite often. I was wondering if maybe switching from non resonated test pipes to RTP would help much?

I don't really wanna do high flow cats, because I love the performance of the TP's

anybody who has had both resonated and non resonated have any oppinions?

thanks guys.

ps I've searched quite a bit, but I'm mostly just looking for oppionions

Question

Do resonated test pipes produce less power than non-resonated test pipes?

non resonated, resonated, wont make a difference. If you want to quiet an already loud exhaust down, switch back to stock cats. if you care to keep your performance upgrade and quiet it down, then its HFCs. no other way, test pipes are test pipes when it comes to making an exhaust louder/raspier.

Good question, I am in the same predicament myself, thinking about getting resonated TPs because my exhaust is a bit loud. I guess HFCs are the way to go.

Res-tp + non res-tp = same whp

Tp (3whp) > hi flow cats (3whp) > stock cats (teh suxorz)
