ERZ 3" Stainless Steel Exhaust for $310 shipped???? Too good to be true?
I am going with a Turbonetics Kit and need a single exhaust. This is a 3" (seems like most all others are 2.5") It appears that the quality is very good but it just seems too good to be true, what does everyone think? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TODAY.m238.lVI
Prices appear to be coming down, even on non eBay exhausts. Having said that, $310 shipped is just ridiculously low, but on the other hand, it could be worth the risk since there so little at stake even if it is a POS.
Yeah and since I am going FI/Turbo the only thing I care about is getting good flow. I just wonder if a cheap exhaust like this won't look good once installed, like the tips might be crooked or something.
If you're going FI, chances are you'd want at least a 3" single like this, or more likely a dual, if you're doing twins. And if you're spending $10K for FI, why skimp on the exhaust?
Anything this cheap is a crap-shoot. The tips may be uneven, the welds may be imperfect, the metal may be really thin, the design/fitment may be bad (what R&D?), the packing material (if any) may blow out, or any combination thereof. It's your money and it's your decision. Personally, I wouldn't do it. If I didn't like it I'd waste more time swapping it out, selling it, and buying another, more expensive one, which I should have done in the first place.
