Don't get the Tanabe- you'll likely lose hp. Borla and Injen are both great systems.

No Tanabe...

I've seen two cars with them run on a dyno and there is significant HP loss...

Dyno'd at 214hp on the Stillen Dyno.

Borla sound nice as well as the Injen. I personally just don't like the look of the Injen... but you can't beat the growl it makes.

The 237hp he is referring to is the power at the wheels. The Z is rated at 287 at the crank but, as with any car, there is power lost in the drive train (approx 15%). Most 350Z's dyno at about 230-240 rwhp (rear wheel hp) stock.

Regarding Injen vs Borla- it's really a matter of your personal preference as both systems seem to produce similar gains.

Looks like he got the borla and was going to trade it for injen.

I think people were more accepting of this kind of dumbassery in 2003, when the 350z was still fairly new.

if a current post like this came up the poster would get molested though
