Just wondering if those that got the stillen hi flow airbox noticed any significant increase in sound going into the higher rpms like the popcharger gives?

 

it hardly can be heard. The stillen intake is enclosed in a box. The popcharger is louder.

 

So it pretty much sounds like stock?

 

I wouldn't say its silent...
It was definitely louder, but in a different way than the popcharger.
The popcharger seemed more high pitched meanwhile the Stillen airbox is more of a deep muffled growl.

 

lol just sold the popcharger and I don't want to get another one, but I do miss the sound already. I'm eyeing the stillen airbox now.

 

Stillen is louder than oem. High rpm, it will sound like just every other intake pretty much. Just get stillen if you miss the sound of an intake.

 

I noticed a change in sound with the arc induction box, but when i put on the amuse exhaust, the exhaust note covers it up

 

Yea, I will probably get the stillen.

lol I have the nismo exhaust and I really don't hear it up top. I mainly hear it around 2k-3.5k. Maybe it'll change after I get my high flow cats installed.

 

yea i have headers and hfc's so its def. louder than w/out.

 

The Stillen is the nicest intake out there, considering price and functionality. I have not noticed any difference in sound, but then again I'm not standing up front when I rev it, and the exhaust covers up any intake noise. The Stillen I have is NOT enclosed in a box - take a look at it through the front or underneath, and you'll see what I mean.

 

+1. It has a more aggressive sound than stock but not high pitched like other intakes.
