Looks like a deal to me! Spend another $200 to get it all cleaned and fixed up. Lucky him!

It looks like the tips and the piping was bent from an accident or something. I would not even touch that.....good luck on fixing that.

To the op, That one tip is definetly damaged/scratched, but not sure if the piping itself is bent or damaged (I don't think it's bent very much at all, but can't tell from the one pic). It looks like the car it was installed on bottomed out and scraped the bottom of the tip and the bottom of the canister.

Here is a pic of mine for the G on top and ur buddy's on the bottom for comparison sake:





def. tell ur buddy to clean it (looks more dirty and dusty in the photo than damaged, but dunno) and use a little alcohol after install to prevent further burn-in of fingerprints or the like.
