The reason why the spacer appears to "hang out" is because it was modeled (Drawn) after the lower intake manifold, not the top portion. The section where it sticks out, the upper plenum has a very narrow sealing surface compared to the lower plenum.

If you look at the pictures you can see it sits flush with the lower section There's nothing wrong with it, it's better actually since it creates a larger sealing surface.

I am curious to see what it dyno's. SOP feels good but it feels to have lost some low end torque. We will see though. The power band is definatly different, but it does feel like a totally different car at WOT.

seems like some of these kits are missing 2 of the black spacers? i can only guess that that is necessary for install....what have you guys been doing? thanks

i have the same problem. The strut bar is hitting the plenum cover when im giving full throttle. Not a big deal and i can feel the power difference

I have it all together with out it, just don't over tighten those bolts. I contacted the vendor and they are sending me the two pieces. Not a big deal.

Wow powelab 3/8 spacer look almost as thick as the 1/2in motordyne and still retain stock tower bar....decisions decisions lol

humm..well you've seen the looks, you know the quality of the material...u've seen it performs... now also ask your wallet...hehe overall the choice is easy IMO
