Default Spacer + upper plenum

Can a spacer 3/8" or 5/8" be used in conjunction with an aftermarket upper plenum manifold PLUS retain factory strut bar?

So, which is a better investment? Plenum (like a Kinetix or Crawford) replacement or MD 5/8 spacer?

Just go with the Spacer. 5/8 or 1/2

Thanks Sup3rd. I know the 1/2 won't clear the strut brace, so I will get the MD spacer.

There are upper plenums such as the APS where you must buy the APS Tough-Boy strut brace. So your question is speculative.
