Have you been dyno'd with your current setup? It looks great.

Is aluminum the best thing to make an air box and tube out of? It seems to me aluminum would be very effiecient at transfering engine bay heat straight to the intake temps... CF might be better.

I'm not worried about temp vs. gains. I'm into the show scene. Point system is what I work for...

Default Updates..

So I started the installation process last night. I worked on it for about 2 hours then called it a night. I'm in no hurry and am extremely maticulate about my work, being careful to avoid scratches and make sure everything looks picture perfect. I ran into a few problems which I will have to work around, but nothing major. Here are some pictures I took along with captions to expain what's going on.

Give me a few minutes to get these uploaded. I'm going to post a few times to get them up...

Getting the engine bay prepped for surgery...

Some pictures of the piping test fit. As you can see I'm going to have issues with the little inlet on the bottom of the intake pipe. It amazes me why ARC would design the inlet pipe to shoot straight out into the firewall. The tubing from my catch can has to attach to this. If I attach it how it is, the tubing will crimp, cutting off air flow. I'm thinking about cutting the inlet with a high speed cutter to make room for the rubber tubing...

Here's a couple test fit photos of the induction box. It's an extemely tight fit in there. You have to install and remove the box very carefully. Some of the edges on the induction box are preforated, which makes them cut into plastic like a steak knife....

Here's the second problem I'm having. The problem is illustrated in the pictures. All suggestions are welcomed....
