Do it and you can hang out with you fellow side-pipe exit SRT-4 buddies.

Several thing we need to talk about here.

1) Roll your fenders
2) Lose the hood pins
3) Perrin or S2k Antenna

thwe other thing to think about is how it will sound......probably horrible! 3 cylinders out each side.

V8s just sound good! it works for them

think about how bad the viper sounded with the side pipes. so bad that Chrysler chnged them to rear exit exhausts.

Ya, I just wanted to try it out, if it sounds bad, or is too loud. just change it back. But I just want to try something a little different since there are about as many Z's as there are civics

This just looks plain ugly even on a RC (radio controlled) car.

I had custom side exhaust on my mustang back in the day. It can be done right. But requires alot of creative thinking to get it placed right. The Z is so low that you would need some new side skirts with cut-outs near the rear of the skirt. Not on the front like the pics before.

go buy a lightning then you wont even have to relocate the exhaust.

There is this place that sells exhaust piping for NASCAR type systems, and you could definitely do a side exhaust with little to no body work. The flattened piping is nice, and it's reflected in the price. HOWEVER, because of the nature of the firing order on our V6, and the fact that it IS only a 6, it would sound like shiet.
