Do HFC's make your exhaust sound really loud? I imagine not anything like test pipes...right? youtube videos suck, so don't tell me to look up sound recordings.

and what about pulley crank set's?

They both sound great, are reliable and make power. I loved the sound of my NISMO exhaust with Stillen headers. Sounded like a sport bike at wot. Selling my headers because Im going TT and I cant use them.

^+1 on the exhaust and headers. Plus even FI unless you use a SC, the headers make no sense with a Turbo, so pure waste later on.

The intake isn't so clear-cut IMHO. The venturi ring Stillen sells with the K&N is identical or nearly so to the JWT, or may even be a JWT part, so I'd get the Stillen setup for an intake simply because the containment shroud - JWT's does not maintain a true CAI approach, it's partly open to engine-side air.

Pics are linked to larger res photos -

I have both and the JWT ring is identical on other engines at least to the Stillen product, so that's a wash:

The Stillen install is cleaner IMHO, and retains the center air intake where JWT does not (at least on my '04 G), and that's 100% outside cooler air:

LOL, how much more? Did you actually weigh the stock filter, airbox you remove, hardware, and then the K&N and Aluminum Ring and compare? If there was a +5 lb difference even (unlikely), we're talking a 3100 lbs plus car here, the ring is light, so is the shroud. That's a totally irrelevant comparison.

Crap, now I have to get the corner balancing done again, the driver front is all screwed up with that massive weight change!

I think he was refering to the Stillen Exhaust. But still it won't be a TON heavier. There will still be a performance gain.
