Has this happened to you? Started the z in the morning and went to close the garage door. walked behind the z and heard a train horn! only 30 seconds in the morning when I start the car and never later in the day.
Would like to come prepared when I bring it to the dealer next week for an oil change. 25000 miles. Any ideas?

 

It's not the car's fault. Move farther away from railroad tracks.

that happens to mine too. u can hear it near the muffler, it sounds really wierd. but im used to it now.

makes a noise on and off like "wehhh" (sorry, hard to describe lol)

My SS makes a "duck" call noise whenever I start it up in the cold weather but I think train horn tops that

Mine makes strange noises during hot interseks~ More like a scream than a moan. :-)

Gas tank vent thru the charcoal cannister? Or it could be that train.
