Help HFC install
Actually the intall will be a breeze if I can get the oem stuff off. Does anyone have a technique for loosening the nus that hold the manifold to the cats. I got one on each side but no room for the other two. Do I need a special tool because a 14 mm stubby is not budging the nuts at all. Don't want to give up but this is rediculous. Wanted to get this done by end tomorrow so if you could let me know asap I will be in your debt.

Well I did the install on my AAM test pipes today. The top outer bolts are real PITA's. I got to them by taking my JWT intakes out and using an extension. I actually broke both of them instead of actually un-bolting them. Other than that tho they were a quick and simple install.
Hope this helps some
Use metric-size sockets or wrenches, they're not 9/16" as I saw somewhere else recently.
Spray with WD-40 or similar solvent, several times, it takes a while to soak through.
Use flex joint extensions, and/or impact tools, if possible. This has always done it for me, even on badly corroded fasteners.
If all else fails, get a nut breaker (I think that's the proper term). It splits the nut and it will usually just fall off. Of-course, you will need a new nut.
