2) get a torque wrench,
3) remove everything,
4) set everything in place so to assure all is in order,
5)blot the gaskets to remove oil etc.
6)check that spacers are installed with the concave facing up
those are held in place by the proper length bolts (instructions)
7)Permatex makes anti squeal spray for brakes and terminal spray for Battery terminals and spray sealant for gaskets. Buy any of the above and spray all gaskets
8) Re assemble (per instuctions)
9) torque (per instructions)
10) Install hoses (per instructions)
11) start vehicle
12)drive vehicle
Got it it was my strut bar, i don't know how it made my car feel like that but i took it off and its perfect.
Guess ill try to fix that later..

I guess i have to use the strut bar spacers? I thought that was only for the 1/2 plenums..

Highly recommend getting a torque wrench. Will come in handy for later projects. If you tighten the bolts too much you could crack the top of the plenum... not enough and you get leaks...

a common noob mistake when installing spacers is the rubber piece on your oil filler neck sometimes gets stuck between your plenum and spacer. THis will cause a leak and make your car run like ish....believe me I know. Dont ask!
over compensating for the strut bar clearance can be painful when reinstalling it. it actually doesn't take much adjusting after installing the spacers. They can be tricky but just need to be lined up right.
For those who are scared, there are plenty of DIYs on the site along with a well laid out instruction manual. With the proper tools, extra set of hands and a little patients, it's a walk in the park. Heres my spacer install from a few months back.

how cold is cold? I only had that problem when I forgot to open the CCV, and it was about 35 degrees outside. Once I did, no more problems. The manual suggests opening the CCV when ambient temps hit 55 degrees and below.
that sounds about right. it was about 40-50 degrees outside. So i need to close it when its cold right. I read the manuel but i had a shop put mine on and I dont know where the actual valve is... I know I know you dont have to call me retarded i already know. lol
