I have a CF intake pipe waiting to install. (replaces the "z" tube) The inside of it is "lumpy" for lack of better words, i guess cause of the way the resin and CF set up when they made it. It's not rough like sandpaper on the inside, just lots of smooth lumps. Is this gonna disturb the airflow enough, if any, to the point that i'll notice a negative difference?
I'm FI BTW. (if it makes a difference)
Thanks!

It will not make any difference. The air near the walls is barely moving anyway, it's the air in the center of the pipe that is really moving.
Roughness actually decreases friction in turbulent flow. It's similar to the principle why golf ***** have divots. The divots reduce friction versus a smooth ball believe it or not.
