anyone have dyno proof of the injen exhaust gains like we have seen for the borla?
just curious if anyone has proved that this exhuast does in fact make the gains. WE seen with the borla that no one has made the claimed hp.
I saw his post on it, I jsut wondered if there were anymore. Theres alot for the borla, not many for the injen. I just want to see if it does make gains before I plunk down 800 bucks.
An FYI, if you decide to go with the Injen. Go here: Injen exhaust at the Overboost Store . The seem to have the best price on the net @ $730+shipping.

yes I know, but I want to see real world dynos. The borla claimed 20whp and I think the most we seen on the board is 10whp.
I seem to recall an Injen post or two (one was probably failsaf3's), but don't recall seeing the actual dyno sheets. Probably there, just didn't pay much mind to them because I knew I would not buy the Injen based on the look.
Those are some good gains. But you had to reset the ecu, I wonder if you hadn't if it would have netted the dame gains. I'm just trying to find what exhaust will make the best horsepower. I dont care about the looks, whatever makes the most is what I'll buy
If the ECU compensates for the exhaust and dumbs down the mod, which I don't think it does for reasons I will explain in a moment, then it doesn't matter what kind of exhaust you put on it. You're going to wind up right back where you start.
Not to mention, you should always unhook the battery when working on your car. So there's a chance the ECU will reset no matter what.
That said, I drove my car over 400 miles this weekend because we had an out of town Z event. If anything, after another 400 miles, it feels like it is pulling even stronger than when I dynoed. Had several people drive my car at the event and they all said they could feel more power, particularly in the mid to high range.
