Just installed today. Goddamn, *****-to-the-wall horsepower... Went straight for the highway and hit 136... I melted into my seat. I could feel the difference - night and day.

I do have the rattle when under 2k rpms. I'll try flipping that bracket tomorrow to see if it fixes the problem.

Peace

Also make sure that your resonators aren’t to close together

I flipped that piece you were talking about - still rattling. The resonators are far enough apart. Perhaps it just has to be broken in more?

Default I have the same prob too!

Just installed the Injen SES tonight myself in about 35 min. only using a pair of Rhino stands I bought for 20 bucks at Kragen. Beats $130 my local Midas shop was quoting me

Anyways it went together sooo smoothly and thought it was purdy easy considering it was my first exhaust install. "Man it looks sweet too.

But, when I started my car, RaTTle, RaTTle... What the...? I'm going to try flipping the provided hanger as well. Thanks all for your ideas, if you find a better fix please let me know so my 35,000 dollar car doesn't sound like a Honda with bass. Not flaming Honda's cause I have a Civic too....

Ahh ****, this might be that damn rattle that I keep hearing, didn't even think of the exhaust. I keep getting this rattle, not always bust sometimes, and it's annoying the **** out of me. I bet it's this

Well another option would be to actually bend the mount that you fliped slightly upward... I have seen installs where this was done. If you have the system loose and have someone hold the pipes up and then tighten them that might work too. I am sorry to hear so many people are having so many probs. I love the exhaust it has such a deep and powerful sound to it. Actually tonight I will take some pics of how mine is setup. maybe it will help????

Default Yeahhh its fixed..

Thanks dkent2, your solution worked pur-fect and it only took a couple of minutes to do. Now all I hear is the sweet sweet sound of vrooom- shift - vroooooom.

No more rattles over bumps or low idle....you da man!

This was the flip the provided Injen hanger upside down trick from what the original directions say mod.

Default Sagging on Passenger side

Well i crawled back underneath and see that in fact it is rattling on the M brace again. It must of sagged overnight. CrAp, i thought flipping the hanger did the job. I will try to loosen the cat connection and push up on it and tighten it back down and see how that works.

If that doesn't work try actually bending the rod up a little.

Default This seems to work too!

Dkent, i didn't have anything to bend the metal bracket with on hand so what i have done is loosened the Injen 12mm nut & cocked the bracket at a 45 degree angle toward the rear of the car so that it puts tension on the rubber grommet. This pulled the exhaust back up far enough to clear the brace. My exhaust also looks a little more even too.

Took it for a spirited test drive and so far so good. I will wait a couple days and make sure it doesn't start again.

Thanks again for your suggestions...

When I first installed mine I had the rattle- flipped the bracket upwards and slighly bent it upwards as well. Still a minor rattle. Adjusted the flanges at the cats and no rattle since.
