Default wideband O2 sensor placement

Where should I have a bung placed for wideband sensor? I'm thinking drivers side test pipe just after the headers. Is this a good spot?

Yup, in the cat pipe itself but before the "cat" part of the cat, ha But just after the exhaust manifold.

Looking at the cat from the rear, it needs to be in like the 2 o'clock position on the pipe, otherwise the o2 sensor will hit the tranny or the body.
