Just got the Cosworth in yesterday Sharif will be installing it as soon as it gets polished. Ill post pictures and Dyno befor and after results.

I don't blame you for liking your Cosworth plenum. It is beautiful and certainly looks better polished. Strange that no one belittles people that buy body kits, but you get grief if you buy a nice looking plenum.

I'm curious about the performance of a Cosworth plenum on an NA engine that is built for high RPM with good rods, compression, and cams. I wonder if that would lean towards the Cosworth's strengths.

 

Problem is there are just a handfull of people who 1) have done a large N/A build 2) willing to spend the money for a large N/A build, to give a fair test to the Cosworth performance N/A.

You're both idiots. RA is absolute not VRT, and nor am I a member of either. Nobody has had problems with relentless period. P.s. Mr. Quicksilver, I've had more problems with intense's customer service (3 weeks of no responses to emails after waiting a week and recieving nothing in the mail after placing my order, and then in the end sending me the wrong product I ordered) than any other company I've sourced parts from. Keep it on topic kids.

As far as Intense is concerned, I ordered a Tanabe y-pipe from them and they contacted me twice (order status and shipping info) and I received my order 1 week after purchase.

I have the plenum at home will post a pic here in a few. But am taking it to Mikes power coating tomorrow to get it polished then i will put it on. sorry its taking so long. should be done by Friday.

I'm calling BS on your story about Intense and I bet Darren has the records to prove it. They are the #1 rated parts vendor voted by members on this site. So if you really had problems with them, I believe it's KARMA.

Now back on topic...

I love the way the Cosworth plenum looks and it looks absolutely BALLER when polished. It's definitely a visual enhancement for the VQ motor and BLING BLING for the engine bay.

But... I care about more than looks when it comes to engine mods. So far, based on the few tests I have seen here on the forums, I have not been very impressed with the low to midrange performance of the Cosworth plenum. It seems it has been sacrificed for more power in the upper portion of the powerband. I would prefer to have gains across the entire powerband as have been shown with the spacers.

Even though I'm leaning towards keeping my PowerLab 3/8" spacer and getting a polished upper plenum for now, I still haven't ruled out getting the Cosworth plenum in the future after this initial backlog of orders is fulfilled. I'm reserving my judgement about the performance of the Cosworth plenum until I see the before and after results on Jorge's Z, especially at high boost on a 76S turbo. In particular, I want to see if the carbon fiber end caps and gaskets/O-rings can handle 20-30+ PSI.

 

i believe injected had it with the gt47r at 22 psi, maybe they can confirm...
