Default Ceramic Coating Recommendations

Just like the title states, I have a brand new set of Strup headers that need to be coated. I already got a quote from Jet-Hot and spending $300 to get the Extreme Sterling, plus who knows about shipping, seems a bit pricey.

I was hoping others could chime in with their experiences with Jet-Hot or other companies that could do the job with the same quality but without the sticker shock.

I used this place when I coated my Miata's turbo downpipe and test pipe. The parts turned out great, and they have held up to the ~1600F exhaust gas temps no problem. The downpipe is pretty big, probably a least 3 feet long, plus another 14" or so for the test pipe, plus the 4 flanges and the 1-1/2" wastegate dump tube w/flange. I think I paid around $120 for the whole job. I got the "titanium" colored satin coating. According to their site, it will run you $150 for a set of V-6 headers with the satin 2000 degree finish, and $180 for the "chromex" 1300 degree finish.
