Default Maybe someone can point me in the right direction...

So I have an 06 revup 6mt. I purchased a JWT Popcharger and put it on. It sounds fantastic and I have no problems with it. I replaced a factory air box with K & N drop in filter and have heard that the factory set up with K&N filter is the better way to go. Maybe I missed this but does anyone have a dyno for the stock box and then the JWT? Like a before and after. I keep reading that the JWT loses power. Any advice or suggestions would be a great help. Thanks.

Don't have anything to show you, but it has been proven the stock 06 airbox is a more efficient design and isn't susceptible to heat soak like the JWT Popcharger is infamous for.

So does that mean that the stock box with drop in K&N is a better power gainer than the JWT? All aftermarket producers claim that their product generated the hp but I don't necessarily always believe that.

Then why did you install it?

What about in an 04 Stock airbox? Is it different to the 06? Is it still the best mod to just put in a K&N Filter?

Thumbs up

Great news, guys; I went on instict--& price!--with the K&N drop-in filter, & it turns out to be a winner! Thanks!!! I HAVE heard that you shouldn't over-oil it, 'cause it can mess up the MAS (???).
