Default Apex-i True Dual N1 Custom Exhaust

Finally got my custom exhaust done.
The canisters are from Apex-i and are the N1's
The rest of the piping was done by a local exhaust shop. They did very good work.
The sound is very deep. Haven't had a chance to record the sounds yet, mostly cause I've been to lazy, but will get around to it soon.
No word on any performance improvements. I will know by the end of the week.
Here are the pics

Looks like they did a nice job with the bends and the whole system overall. Is it stainless? Alot of shops around here look at you wierd if you ask about mandrel bends. Looking forward to the sound clips.

The pipes are aluminized with resonators. I really don't care about stainless steel. More for looks than performance and the price is cheaper.

They did basically did everything from scratch. All the mandrel bends, welding and hangers were done by them.
The canisters and hangers are stainless steel.

I'll probably be doing the sound clips this weekend.

Wow, I'm impressed with the guys who did that...looks similar to the Injen minus that connecting pipe.

Not sure how long the canisters are.... never really tried to measure them.

Under normal driving it's not all that loud. Just a little louder than stock. Now when you step on the pedal and have it at high rpm.... it's a different story.

For those who were in the tunnel at the same time I was really knows how loud it is

Default Sound clips please....

Nice custom setup! It can easily be mistaken as Injen's true dual. Can't wait to hear the sound clips....

It is 2.25 inch piping. Don't know of the brand of resonator but it's a glass pack with a spiral inner design.
Yes it is almost like the Injen SES design but has way less bends and has the H piping near the cats. And I believe the resonators are a bit smaller. And when you hear it.... it definately does not sound like the Injens.... at least to me it doesn't

I'm going to make a good effort to try and get the sounds clips done this weekend. Even thinking about going down the 2nd St tunnel in Downtown LA and have someone record .

I will know about any real gains in a few days when I dyno.

The exhaust looks really nice...I am going to do the same thing except with the anodized black mufflers, 2.5" piping and no resonators....are those the universal NA or are they the Turbo mufflers?

They are the black NA mufflers and the piping is 2 1/4". The turbo mufflers a little over 2 1/2".

This set up cost me a little over 600

I thought they were black...that looks great. Do you think you could post a picture of the car from the rear at about car level a few feet back?
