Default fitting aftermarket headers/exhaust on stock cat

i'm planning to buy DC headers + Stillen exhaust system (true dual). and i'm a little bit short on money, so i won't be able to buy the catalytic converter. am i going to face any problem fitting those on the stock cat?

thnx

Your car is going to blow up into a million little pieces because of it!!!!!!!!! seriously though you should find no problems except putting on headers is a real *****.

alright.. how effective is this setup?

(aftermarket exhaust + headers + stock cat) vs. (aftermarket exhaust + headers + cat) ??

do i really have to spend the extra $$$ to get the cat? am i going to notice any difference? i mean, if no difference, why not stick with the stock cat and save the $$$?

it SHOULD fit right. DC and Stillen are some pretty good quality stuff. They should bolt up with the stock cats just fine.

HiFlow cats were one of my favorite mods I did at the time. I had them with a stock catback and stock headers and loooved them. I would recommend them if possible.

Have you thought about test pipes? They can be found in the 100-200 dollar range if you don't mind risking a Check Engine Light.

I'd save some money for a tune as well as high-flow-cats or test pipes.

after those bolt-ons i think i'll do a re-flash.. but i'm thinking of going with Greddy EvoTT exhaust now. since my next phase would be going Vortech SC.
