Default HF Cats

Hey,
I've been trying to do some reseaching about HFC's and what to go with. I've got an 05 ZR with a Borla TD exhaust, intake, plenum and TS reflash. I've also read about the CEL going off and can't seem to find any one HFC that hasn't had that problem. Been looking at AAM, Crawford, Kinetix, Berk and Stillen. Can somebody point me in the right direction cause i don't really feel like doing HFC's and then changing them after the fact. Also wanted to know if i would have to get ECU reprogrammed again for the HFC's?

Thanks

@_@

There's like 800 threads about this. Metallic HFCs may throw a CEL during the first few minutes while the car warms up. This, however, can be avoided by purchasing a pair of HFCs with No Foulers (extended bungs that keep the o2 sensor further from the exhaust fumes and prevent a CEL).

I and many others have purchased Berk HFCs and are completely satisfied with them. (They've also got awesome customer service in case something does go wrong)

As for the ECU, I would not bother reflashing it until you finish ALL of your breathing mods. (Intake, Plenum, Cats, Cat-back, etc.) Its best to do them all at once.

As stated before... Berk has awesome customer service and they have the built in CEL fix. I've yet to have a SES light go off and the sounds is amazing. They're worth the money.

Berk's holding up great for me so far, with no flex pipes anywhere in the exhaust. The tabs are heavy duty, so they aren't moving anywhere. No CEL light either, but I have an '03.
