guys, im brand new to this forum, but thought i would provide my input.

like other said, let sound be the deciding factor, not power, not dual or single. to be completely honest, power does not vary too much between dual and large single apps, except if your talking above 450 hp, maybe even 500hp. a single exhaust works just about as good. i built complete exhaust systems in las vegas for 5 years, and this is what ive found.

btw, dont waste money on a "hi-flow" cat. these days there is no such thing! i have run in the quarter with and without cats, and got NO variation in ET. they act as more of a resonator than anything.

hope this all helps.

I went with the Borla TD after doing extensive, and exhaustive (no pun), research on TDs. Everything else, with the exception of the Stillen, just sounded too ricey and didn't fit the burl of the Z's stock note.

The Borla can also be enhanced with the addition of a Magnaflow H-pipe to increase power and response, in addition to getting rid of 90% of rasp when paired with test pipes.

1. Injen is already producing their exhausts with the H pipe, no need for waiting ^ mentioned above.
Spoke to Injen's owner at the Stillen event.

They are updating the H pipe and pipes on their current true dual to enhance the sound and gain some more power.

borla is dead quiet.

and injen is such a deep sound.

in my opinion, i like more of a high pitched sound WOT. but not raspy of course.
HKS has my vote i guess. or bassani as far as the vids sound good

Ive heard alot of exhausts in person at dyno events (HKS, EVO2 TT and regular, JIC singles, invidia, Fast intentions 2.5" and 3", injen, apexi, borla, and nismo) but i like the injen the best. Its my own preference. Of course im biased cause i own an injen, but i woudlnt trade it for any other exhaust.

The only other exhaust id buy is an Amuse titan...

My guess is it ends up being pretty much the same as the current Track edition exhaust. Unless they're just going for an overall wider exhaust with 2.5+ inch piping or something.

+1 I would go with the Fast Intentions on build quality and sound. I would avoid Injen at all costs if I got it free I wouldnt put it on my car they change the sound of the car too much, the one I heard had headers and test pipes when I heard the guys drive away after install I thought if that was me I would be very disappointed. I have a Stillen I liked the sound before I went TT but I always wished I would have went with the Fast Intentions.

I have an HKS exhaust ... and the look/sound still amazes me (2 years later).
