Default I am going to loose power with Greddy Ti-C (NA)

Hey

I really want to get the greddy Ti-C True Dual (70mm 2.75"), but I am afraid that I am going to loose power... Also I am going to have any problems with the install cuz I have RAS? My car is NA.

Thx

you may loose low end torque, but higher rpms and top speed will be better, you should also look into getting HFC at the minimum

if you are afraid of that, then stay stock or get another exhaust

how would I know what HFC is going to match up with the Ti-C (sound wise)? Also wouldn't the HFC make me loose even more low down tq?

Thx

Why not choose a different exhaust like said above?

HFC will always yield better power.

So if the true duals lose low end torque would it be better to stay away from them if you say autox? You never really get high end speed during autox so would HFC's, a better Y Pipe and y-pipe back exhaust be a better decision?

Not ALL true duals loose low end tq. From what I can remember (from research before I bought my exhaust system), you want to stay away from anything larger than 2.5" if your N/A. I dont know anything about the OP exhaust in question, I assume it must be larger than 2.5, which would be better for FI applications. Also, saying that HFCs ALWAYS give more power doesnt make sense. If you already lost some power due to losing exhaust velocity (too large of exhaust), why would slowing down the exhaust velocity even more give you more power. Some of you peeps need to do some research on exhaust velocity, especially before you start suggesting things to people. mis-info FTL.

can everyone just spell the word "lose" right? It's not "loose". Three people who have posted already fell victim.

TiC is 70mm piping, which is roughly 2.75. You will lose some power, but truthfully, you will with most aftermarket exhausts you put on an NA car. I've had a few on mine, and by far my best yet is the 3" single. I'm about to go to high flow cats and HKS, so I'm excited to see how that works

I think you're forgetting that in majority of cases, any HFC worth buying gains power when compared to stock cats. What people mean when they say HFC "always" makes more power, isn't that the addition of HFC regains the lost power from a catback that has too large a diameter of piping, but rather that it offsets the loss of lower rpm power.
