Kinetix plenum + Spacer?
The Kinetix and spacer are not compatible with eahother.
The Kinetix has a central support column that needs to rest against the lower plenum. When a spacer is added, it lifts the support column off its resting point and the upper panel of the Kinetix is left unsupported.
When the engine is at idle, it creates a vacuum in the plenum and sucks down the top of the plenum and puts a whole lot of stress on it that it was never meant to be exposed to.
When you hit the gas, vacuum is lost and the top of the plenum flexes back up again.
And when you go through several thousand stress cycles of idle and hitting the gas, strongly flexing the top panel up and down, the plenum will become fatigued and will eventually implode.
Not a good thing to happen while driving...
You can use a MREV2 with a Kinetix, but never combine a spacer with the Kinetix.
