i don't have a clip of my own car but there's plenty posted already. IIRC there should be some on their website.

I currently have the Borla TD exhaust and have purchased the Magnaflow Xpipe/muffler. When I took it to the exhaust shop, it didn't fit where the H pipe was. They said I would have to flare the piping.. Is this true?

Magnaflow might not be able to answer. 2.5" is a nominal measurement. ID/OD measurements will be different depending on the guage used for the pipe. You have to actually measure the exact id/od of the pipes you have and the pipes you want to use. ESPECIALLY if it's a slip fit like the Borla.

If it's just a cut/weld, it doesn't have to be exact but it would help it flow better.

I don't believe that is the correct one. The part for my Borla was

Product ID: MAG11385
Product Name: 11385

http://www.performancepeddler.com/de...CT_ID=MAG11385

This place had it a lot cheaper than the others that I checked. (Most were $110+)

I always thought it was that one, but lately people have been posting pics of the X-pipe above, so I got confused. Thanks!

Np. And, yeah, people usually post those same pics of those other two X-pipes, so it's very confusing trying to find the right one. It took me a quite a bit of reading through pages of old threads to find someone who had the part number posted. After I found it, I made sure to save it in my e-mail so I could help out anyone else who asks about it.

Anyone have pics of the magnaflow x-pipe muffler installed? Is this something that would have to be cut out to drop the tranny?

Look at any FastIntentions exhaust for an example. Why on earth would you have to cut it out to drop the transmission? The exhaust piping runs on either side of the trans with plenty of clearance. The X pipe muffler is inserted at a point distal to the transmission (below the driveshaft) where the pipes run close together.

The X-pipe greatly reduces the rasp though and adds a bit of backpressure which is needed if you're n/a and running 2.5'' dual ex. w/ a Magnaflow x-pipe I picked up 5whp w/ my Borla exhaust.
