When will people learn

Way to go, you just wasted 11 hrs of your life installing headers that gain you exactly 0.28 whp. This isn't even counting the number of bruised/cut/scraped knuckles nor the cost of the headers themselves. If a person was giving headers away for free, they still wouldn't be worth installing.

My suggestion is to put the oem manifolds back on if your header(s) are leaking or cracked. It is possible you didn't get the gaskets to seal properly or have a loose nut.

or try installing turbo manifolds and then a turbo onto each of them. Headers aren't that hard

Way to go genius.

When will people learn to leave the OEM parts alone. They are doing a fantastic job and will ceraintly last longer than any aftermarket product. +1 on you gaining zero horsepower. No offense.

I took a look at the headers, and figured that I should find someone who knows what they are doing.

I know I sound like I'm contradicting myself, but I knew what I was getting myself into installing a pair of cats.

The OP seems like he had no idea how difficult it can be to remove and install headers. Now it looks like he has many complications.

Headers are not a hard install. If you get a good set, they are worth the install. As far as installing HFCs/TPs, (at least on a DE), that's got to be the easiest mod. When reinstalling my factory cats after installing headers, i could reach every single bolt from under the car.

I just installed them on my 350Z the other day the other day, thanks. A long install does not necessarily equate hard. There are some tight spaces but it is completely doable and I don't see any part of a header install requiring being a professional mechanic. Mowing the yard is a pain in the ***, but it certainly is not hard.

I know this. When the time comes to remove my headers due to failure; I'll be selling my Vortech and upgrading to a TT. Hopefully this won't be any time soon.
