They look stainless. So that's good. Are they real DC's?

I'd get them welded and cleaned up before going through the pain of installation.

Here's what my DC's look like... Pretty clean.

I am the original owner of these Headers.

They are real DC and i had zero problems with fitment/leaks. I can say 100% that when i shipped them out to the first buyer, they did not have any cracks/breaks in the welds. I know this because i physically inspect everything prior to even posting for sale, and then again before shipping.

Everything i've ever sold to anyone, on this board or anywhere else, has been in working condition with all issues addressed prior to the sale. I've even had issues where i sold a strut tower bar that didn't clear the buyers carbon fiber hood, which i returned no questions asked. I also sold a JIC exhaust with a crack in the canister (this crack was made known to all potential buyers prior to the sale by photos on the original sale thread, as well as in person to the person who actually purchased the exhaust).

with that said, i would never sell a broken piece to anyone trying to pass it off as working. I don't know if this may have happened during shipping, for which i had purchased insurance to cover such an incident. I'm certain now however that since these items were shipped a second time, the insurance is void.

I know it really $ucks when you purchase something and then find it's not what you thought it to be and i feel bad as the original seller. however, I'm sure the buyer/seller in this case will resolve the matter. If you two have any questions, please feel free to PM me.

Sounds like these might not be the headers you sold the OP?

I don't know, if he takes pictures of the outside we'd be able to tell. but i doubt the 1st buyer would sell different headers, he's a good guy and his feedback speaks for itself.

It's also possible this could have happened during shipping...in which case i hope one of them opted to buy insurance.

I'm at a loss then, I have no clue how it could have happened. Any ideas?

They definately were not cracked/damaged when they were in my possession as i would have noted it in the for sale thread.

Are they welded on the outside? thats called a merge collector and it looks fine to me, when you're welding inside of a small tube its very difficult to weld inside and outside.

It could be normal wear and tear on the part. As long as its not leaking, I would assume that it would be fine. Like posted above it is the merge collector and usually the manufacturer cleans that up on the inside. You can just get it welded again and just clean it up with a dremel if it bothers you.
