JWT PopCharger + Injen Intake
I was wondering if the JWT Pop Charger could be used with the Injen or AEM Intake together.... Or does the JWT Pop Charger only fit the stock intake? Sorry if it's a stupid question.
It will probably fit. If not you can easily get the correct silicone downsizer.
I'm not sure of the actual dimensions of the filter though. Are they the same as the filters that come with the AEM/Injen, because you have to remember that both filters don't have much room, whether it be in front of the wheel (AEM) or the radiator (Injen).

I did it a few months back. There was a slight modification required to get them to work togeather. Thats if you want the full CAI like I did. (the pop charger is way down in the front grill)
If you only want the ram air intake I think no other mods are required to get it to work.
I did a post about it a while back. If interested search
"Injen hybrid" and I think it will bring up the thread.
Heres a photo of the pop charger down in the grill.

Hey bark,
how did you get your filter element so far into the middle? Other ones I've seen were hugging the driver's side edge of the opening.
And do you notice accelerated contamination in that spot?

not sure what you mean about accelated contamination but if you mean does the filter grab and hold leaves and big things like that, the answer is no. It does pick stuff up but I take a look ever time I wash the car and make sure to get the big things (bugs etc) out of it. I plan on taking it off and cleaning it for the first time (approx 7500 miles) prior to getting the ecu and dyno next month.
the reason it moved from the edge to the middle is the adapter piece I used to connect the Injen intake to the Pop Charger filter.
I picked up a 3" hose at the home depot that worked perfect. The hose is about 4-6 inches long (approx) and the additional length moved it over to its present location.
I like it ALOT!
BTW - here is a picture of the hose I used to connect the two: Pop Charger is on the left, connector (black) is in the middle and the last part of the injen is on the right.

Yea i meant bugs and stuff. That's what I was worried about originally, so I just got the AEM, but I think I should have gotten the Injen in retrospect.
Yours definitely looks cool. And it's unique. Did you have any fit problems? My AEM fit pretty well but it took me about 10 mins of adjusting to get it to fit just right.

It was a little tough to get the tube through the air intake hole in the grill area. then I realized it needed to be removed to get it to work! Then it was easy.
Fits like a glove.
