ok I made a thread about this a few months ago and some how it got deleted..... anyways Im bout to put a feeler up 4 my pretty much brand new nismo and I think im gonna make a custom exhaust.

ok So I had the AAM 3" TD and sold it and def miss the deep sound. So what im thinkin is kinda similar to AAM im just gonna run 3" TD exhaust out to tips of my choice. But more like APS 3" bc its just straight pipes. I like loud and plan on going FI so this will be perfect.

So what do u guys with EXPERIENCE think? No z or y pipe just 3" of stainless steel TD exhaust.

Ok update. Went to a pretty known muffler shop who has done some custom stuff on a few of my buddies camaros, mustangs and hondas. He said he wants to put 3" double walled flex joints in it at the begining of the exhaust kinda like this Nismo.

So he wants to do the 2 3" flex joints and run a 3" X pipe all the way out. Now I know I picked out those tips in my post above but he has some there that look kinda like our stock tips. Stainless steel and there just 4 looks. He gave me a pretty reasonable price to. What do u think?

 

What is the price if you don't mind me asking I am planning on doing this.

 

Ok here's the dilema I'm in. It will cost me around 600 for stainless steel set up. But me and my buddy was talkin today who's big into custom fabrication and he said if I run this with the tips they have which is just 4 looks it may sound like ****. I'm kinda questioning it bc if u look at aps 3" its straight pipes to a kinda muffler tip. So idk

 

ANYONE?? Im not tryin to make a mistake! Does anyone think If i run straight 3" x-pipe to 3" pipes out the back with no like muffler canister it will sound mean? ok nvm piks exceeds limits but its pretty much just like our stock tips but a bit bigger and there just for show. HELP!!!
