Default Custom Intake Problem! HELP!

I searched around for this old thread about hydrolocking, but couldn't find it.
Someone on the boards had used the Injen CAI piping, kept the stock airbox, and put in a high-flow K&N Filter. I'm in the middle of doing that right now, but can't figure out one thing - that 1" hose or whatever it is... What does it connect to with this setup?

PS - I really hate my dad for throwing away every 350z related picture that I print out, or else I wouldn't have this problem right now.

Someone help quick!

Just a guess but, shouldn't it connect to the short hose just before the elbow to the throttle body?

That's on the stock piping. The Injen "eblow before the throttle body" doesn't have any place for it to connect.

The only thing I can think of that this guy did, was drill a hole in the stock airbox, and somehow put the plug in there.

I don't want to attempt that unless I'm 100% sure it can be done... Or I'd like to see if there's a simpler way first before i start drilling into anything.

Whoever did this mod, please post that picture again. My car is sitting in the garage right now with the intake system all taken apart.

Any speedy help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Bryan

The Injen intake should have a place for it to connect, even if you were installing the entire thing. I am thinking of doing the same thing though....anyone who has the injen please respond.

There is a piece on the injen intake whre it connects - it has a flat part where 4 bolts connect to it, a 3" pipe that is only a few inches long, and a small elbow where that hose connects to. But when you're using the airbox setup, there is no room for this piece to fit - unless there's something I don't know.

My Injen upper tube is the old style but I think there are a couple people who have done this with the new version tube. Could you take a picture of what you are looking at?

I'll try to get some pics up tonight of the parts I'm talking about. The intake is back to stock right now, but I really want to figure out how to get that pipe in there and still somehow have that hose connected.
