Yes.

Step 1. Remove Injen SES canister assembly.
Step 2. Remove Injen SES exhaust tubing assemblies.
Step 3. Install Borla True Duel Exhaust tubing.
Step 4. Install Borla True Duel Exhaust muffler housing and adjust.
Step 5. Get friendly looks from people now since you will not have a loud and obnoxious and really annoying sounding exhaust system any longer.

Punk Actually did you hear mine at the shootout? The exhaust has quieted down quite a bit with 4000 miles on it, especially at idle. Did you see the idle dB on the Injen at the shootout? Unfortunately we can't discuss here since SportZ will be publishing the results. It's the header that are loud and obnoxious now. . BTW the Borla headers sound kick a$$ and they're only getting better as they get miles on them.

Turcoupe- don't even mess around with the silencers. Deposit them into the nearest dumpster.

I repeat, "DO NOT INSTALL THE SILENCERS!!!" failsaf3 and throbbing_Zon can tell you how it sounds like (they also made fun of it and my Z became the laughing stock during the dyno shootout StrictlyZ hosted). I don't want to say because it makes me depressed . Just install it w/out the silencers and it will quiet down after you put about 1000 miles on it.

Just kidding guys, I'm not that upset. I'll attempt to remove the silencers this weekend.

Mgv and Failsaf3, thanks for getting me pysched up but.... I am confused still. Are you sayinig that the silencers don't already come installed in the canisters? I didn't see any extra baffles or anything in the box, so I presumed they were already installed. ( I got the kit from Coz)

The silencers don't come installed on the exhaust. You can put them on afterwards, but why? After my exhaust was installed I lost those things.

I'm 100% sure the silencers are packaged separately. They're gunmetal in color and has about 2" opening. Just look at some pics of the exhaust, I'm sure that they don't have the silencers installed. I should take a pic of mine so you'll see it.

My silencers were packaged separately, with the rest of the hardware (gaskets and bolts). They fit inside the exhaust tips and reduce the tips to about 1.5"-2". As MGV mentioned they are a darker color (not SS).

If you wanna remove them:
Put a small nail in a broom handle
put the broom handle up in the silencer
snag it and tap (use some force) it out

Next: trash them...why did you put them in anywayz?

I didn't install them XZlr8. I was under the impression that they came installed already becasue of everyone posting to not use them. The only reason I bought the Injen exhasut and CAI is becasue I wanted an exhaust loud as hell that sounded higher pitched than the Borla.

That's cool fail! I do remember. So that was you, Silver-SES-Wheels-headers-CAI. I think it was quieter than the test system they used now that you mention it.
I should state things I do like about the SES.
On another thread some guy was right; Less clamping and nicer fittings. I really do like that polished stainless steel look. Nice!! I guess that's why Borla duel is cheaper, less frills. I am glad that injen is going to have a staight tip version, that should be pretty nice.

Yep that was me. I didn't even realize that was you until I saw the frost interior in your sig. I was checking out your interior at the shootout and figured there arent very many DB's in the bay area with frost interior (very nice BTW).
Both the Borla and Injen are great exhausts- like you said just a matter of preference.
