Invidia N1 Catback Exhaust System
Hey I just bought a 2004 350 and im dying to get some great sounding exhaust. I've had my eyes on 2 types which are the Invidia N1 Catback Exhaust System and Topspeed n1 exhaust system. Which one do you guys think sounds better and which one sounds better. I'm going for a deep but not raspy harsh sound. I'm also trying to find legit places that sale either of these so if you guys have any places you guys know, it'll be great if you gave me the information about the place.
heh Topspeed Pro N1 FTW!!! (my future exhaust!)

Trust me when I say this, as I had the Top Speed Pro-1 exhaust. It'll be ridiculously loud and it's only a y-pipe back. It's not known for being the loudest exhaust for no reason. Any exhaust with that design (look up pics if you don't know) will be very, very loud - RSR, Invidia, Top Speed, etc. You probably shouldn't think about getting a matching y-pipe, test pipe, and/or headers with this y-pipe back exhaust.
The included silencers will give the exhaust a higher tone and reduce the sound, but not by too much. It'll still be loud. Expect droning and reverberations inside the cabin at all times with and without the silencers (intensity varies, of course).
You will also lose low end torque, but gain up top, both of which will be noticeable when driving, as opposed to stock exhaust configuration.

When you say XXX-back, that means starting right after the XXX.
I don't get your question, but you should figure things out on your own based on what I posted above. As for other types of exhaust, SEARCH!

It looks ridiculously cheap.

A friend of mine has the Invidia N1 on his Z. It resonates really loud inside. Sometimes I can't differentiate between the exhaust resonation, and his subs hitting... It's insanely loud. The silencers didn't help much.
I'm waiting for my Z to get out of the shop, cause I've got an Injen SES dual exhaust waiting in the garage...

I think the Invidia is made pretty good. i used to have it on my Z for 2 years, but it was way too loud. I had test pipes on for 1 summer and i dont even wanna talk about it. It may sound awesome, but think about long term. Can you handle the sound cause your the one driving it and hearing it the best lol.
