4" Single exhaust
#22
lol
few people...like me are the only ones that need a 4" on a single turbo...
intense maxed the gt37r on a 3" exhaust so it flows good enough for that turbo....now a 76S...
regardless, bigger better FI

Ok follow the link. This is dereks car WAY back in the day. So i want just like this but not straight out like single exhaust Zs have. I mean more angled. Like a custome exhaust and having the single pipe after the y-pipe ran to the right side s i can angle it and have it pointed to the left side

BIGGER IS ALWAYS BETTER! ha but i do think just a 4 inch stainless steel pipe sticking out would look just raw...i have always preferred the race look instead of the shiny look, i love seeing supras with it.

I just called pfsupercars to get a price quote-they said it is $349.00 for
the straight pipe 3 inch system and $595.00 for the 3 inch exhaust
plus shipping charges, i just wish they would post a sound clip and/or pics
soon.

if i get some spare cash soon i may pick up that straight pipe system,
depends on how my new set up sounds-just got some strup test pipes
that i am going to use for track days in conjunction with my strup
headers, fuji y-pipe and fuji legalis r exhaust. i will be installing friday
night after work-have an auto-x coming up on Sunday and HPDE/track
day in 2 weeks at Sebring
i am tired of people saying they can't hear my car go by when i am on
track even though it is at WOT the whole time-if the test pipes do not
cure that i am sure the straight pipe system would

the 4inch is $995.00 plus shipping-can get it with a round muffler
or oval but he did not specify if there was a price difference
and it is stainless construction-i think he offers different materials
other than stainless because he asked "do you want stainless?"
i am guessing aluminized tubing is the other option-i doubt they have
titanium

angled exit in your request, sounds like they probably have some jigs
in thier shop that they can alter for various set ups, being they make
products for a variety of different cars. Sounds like they have some
generic mufflers and resonators they use in the process as well.

oh yeah, forgot to mention how my test pipe install went-had a
suprising outcome, but it was not a true test-i did 2 mods today-then
drove it afterward. I read about unplugging the yaw sensor for the VDC
and how it makes such a big difference with cornering and racing, etc...
then installed test pipes.
Car now pulls hard after each upshift-even in 5th gear(i have auto)
i thought it would be a lot louder-it is definately louder than my hfc's were
but not a drastic change-i notice the power significantly from 4k rpms and up
took a test drive with my wife when i got home to see what she thought
went 148mph on a backroad by my house with my 19's on-not bad.
i am going to swap out to my track wheels/tires and gut interior Sat.
night, clean popcharger and take it out again to compare
