Those must be the days before everyone realized that the DE engine doesn't respond at all to intake or exhaust mods. Is there something wrong with wanting your car to sound good?

From what I understand, the bassani makes good gains (+/- 10hp) on the HR, doesn't it?

Now this is only with the butt dyno but even my friend that rode in the stock and current version says it pulls harder.

I agree with the sound its a V6 on roids and the burble is so addictive. I get compliments on the look and sound of my car even from old ladies that you would think would never have an interest in a car. And i dont get any drone at any speeds, plus on the highway its only a little louder then stock at around 75

Still recommend the Bassani and Pop charger combo its great.

Thanks for that review

i did with my APS , and looking for something now
thank you
any drone?
Once youve had the Bassani for a while, you will catch a drone somewhere in the rmp range, its very short and hard to find. Took me about a month to hear it after another member caught it. You would literally have to try and find it and shift right at the perfect time to keep it in that very tiny rpm/pitch area to have the drone...basicly impossible. So that is my long no for your answer.

Loss of low end tq?
No. I didn't put my car on the dyno, but the butt dyno felt just the opposite. The pipe size is perfect for N/A, not big enough to lose exhaust velocity, and just big enough to free up the motor a bit. Was a big consideration buying this exhaust. I can rip through first gear faster than with stock.

Fluid1: there are some dynos on the forum already. The first one that caught so much attention has not been duplicated. Seems like gains have been around 10-12 hp, and something similar for a torque gain. To be honest, I dont know of any TD with better gains.

Someone else asked if there is any rasp with HFC. At some point, someone on this forum put on the Bassani exhaust, loved the sound, then tried it with HFCs and reported a lot of rasp. I dont recall the members name right now. Can anyone verify that?

Ive had this exhaust for about 3 months, so Ive been following it for a bit.

No, people lose low end torque when the exhaust piping is too big for the application. MT or Auto shouldnt make a difference.
