Default DYNOS - Revup with BASSANI and unichip - HUGE gains!!!

Another Z-car garage mod and tune! All Dynos are with Nissan consult II and monitoring engine temps for consistancy - in usual Zcar Garage fashion.

This time with my wife's 06 VQ35DE rev-up.

She went in with just a MREV2 lower collector and 5/16ths spacer and came out with a Bassani Exhaust and dyno-tune via Unichip.

All I can say is WOW! What a difference on the rev-up!!! It really opened up the engine!

Sound: Different sound than on my HR. The exhaust pops and burbles a lot less on the DE. Seems quieter at idle than the HR. Sound is well-tuned and authoritative from inside the car. Just sounds SOLID! WOT is the same great Bassani sound.

I am posting 4 Dynos. Before and after for the day and then before and after for each step. Peak gains are impressive alone, but they don't tell the whole story. Look at the whole area under the curve; there are higher off-peak gains to be had

Dyno1 - 06 DE revup with mdyne collector and spacer, then with Bassani and uni-chip Dyno-tune.

Dyno 2 - 06 DE revup with mdyne collector and spacer, then with Bassani added (no tune yet)

Dyno 3 - 06 DE revup with mdyne collector, spacer and Bassani, then with uni-chip tune.

Dyno 4 - all three above plots so you can see the benefit of the Bassani and then the benefit of the tune... NICE

I have heard that before, hoping that the unichip will allow the tuning to ensure boost of numbers.

Thanks for posting results on the revup!

I really like this exhaust. Now I wonder if would work with TT setup since I'm going that route in a year or so.

Wonder if the same gains can be had with a de?does the unichip mess with the emissions?

Most likely. The revup motor is a VQ35DE as well. It's the HR that's a different beast.
