Hmm, by what you say, 2003z, that would mean that the kit you referenced is the only dual that they have. Interesting, that does decrease the value of the GT2 a bit.

Yea, I hear ya' there too. There is another thread I started on that one too since no one was really talking about it. Apparently the US version is on hold because something gets in the way...and no one seems to know when it will be released...but I am very interested in that as well.

The dual sound exhaust had fitment problems on the US spec Z, so RS-R has not official release date for it, or if it will even be released at all.

I just put this exhaust on two days ago, let me tell you without silencers it is EXTREMELY loud and mean sounding, like keeping your foot on it at a steady 3k rpm produces a sound so loud you hear your car shake and you can feel it in your chest.. the awesome part is people checking their rear view mirrors and side mirrors to see what is pullin up, the bad part is looking out for cops.

With the silencers.... it is very very quiet, does not make noise at all unless you go to like 3.5k rpm but it doesn't sound that loud there anyway. No rumbling sound at idle either.

Right now I have my silencers in because i'm afraid of getting pulled over.

Oh btw, I have cat delete pipes.

I started this post forever ago. Funny to see it alive.

Since I have had the exhaust I have been to court once, and have paid a 280.00 ticket. LOL!

It sounds rediculous. Love it more everyday. It's the most aggressive sound I have heard out of a Z.

About 3 months after install it will really smooth out and not sound as raw. You gotta want the noise though.

RS-R EX MAG GT2 (click here)

This exhaust is deafeningly loud. Please be aware you are going to be attracting alot of attention (both good and bad) from the sound of this. Other mods like test-pipes, headers, y-pipe will make this exhaust unbearable.

All I have is test-pipes and it's already unbearable. I love loud exhausts but it's only unbearable because of the paranoia of getting caught by police, if no police then i wouldn't care it's not like I drive it for hours a day.

Great looking exhaust but maybe the US version will be on the quieter side.

Yea, I was summonsed to court once. I was parked downtown, and the cop literally walked up to my car and gave me a summons. After going to court, I had to get inspected. Put the silencers in for the test, still failed, but the judge let me go.

When I got the ticket, I was pulled over for 50 in a 30, and while he had me he wrote me up for an "illegal exhaust." Make a long story short, canister style exhausts are illeagel in CT. And it is way beyond leagal decibal limits. So I just paid the fine.

But it's true. You will get attention. Good and bad.
