Go with hi flows if you are going nismo exhaust. It sounds good in the higher rpm's with tp's but down low sounds like pure ***.

personally I'd avoid TP's...due to rasp.

It really depends on your personal tastes. If you can get out to a car meet and listen to a few exhausts, that would be your best bet.

well that's why people need to do their homework when looking for exhaust setups...some TPs mixed with different exhaust systems gives you different results...MOST will give you rasp BUT combined with the right exhaust it doesn't...for instance check my videos out..no rasp what-so-ever with TPs and Nismo exhaust (mods list is in the "more info" section of the rev video)

TP's and Nismo will be VERY loud and will drone. I took my Megan V2's off after the Nismo exhaust install.

I had the nismo paired with both TPs and HFC's..

Nismo + Tp's:
@WOT, this setup sounded like an exotic.. but mid range drone was killer. It felt like my fillings were going to come loose at 3200rpm.
Also lost much of the power down low..

Nismo + HFC's:
WOT, was amazing. Drone was almost nill. No loss of power down low.

Now if you like a loud *** exhaust, then I would say get the resonated TP's..
But I personally preferred the HFC combo..

I agree with the Nismo + TP 100000000%! It sounded awesome at WOT. Too bad I don't drive at WOT 95% of the time . For daily driving (under 4k) it droned way too much. I'm waiting for some HFC's to come in before I put the exhaust back on.

Edit, the severe droning occured even with the XYZ pipe and catalytic converter module.

Everyone has different preferences, and videos don't quite capture the full effect of an exhaust combo. My best advice is go to a meet and see/hear what's out there. If you can't get to a meet, I'm afraid you'll have to take a gamble and try out things yourself.

sidenote: I'm impressed, usually these kind of threads just go apeshiet after a short time.

the other thing you need to look at is a good set of TPs will run you under $200 and an OK set of HFC will run you $300+ easy
