Default Stock Exhaust System Problem

Hi guys, quick question... A few months ago, I switched back to my stock exhaust system on my 08 but I didn't put back a black metal piece b/c I didn't know where it went... I think that piece secures the pipes in place or something like that. I was wondering if you guys have any pictures of the exhaust system from under the car so that I know where to put it on. Thanks!

How about you post some photos, and members can tell you what goes where.

You don't think it would be the reason why it's causing the exhaust rattling?

The evap can is plastic. That can collects the gasoline vapors from your tank. If you were to hit up a piece of road debris and puncture that evap can you might get a CEL light (ecu thinking the gas cap was loose). Worst case scenario, but a TINY TINY TINY chance, it could ignite and cause a fire.

You're probably okay to leave it off, but if you're one of those unlucky people, put it back on.

Hope that helps.
